I couldn’t sleep last night. I guess it was something in the back of my mind something bad was going to happen today.
And it did.
Back around Festivus, I aired my grievance about how someone at my job may have started an international incident by saying the wrong thing to the wrong person and possibly torpedoing one of our most trusted suppliers? Well I got an email from that supplier on my way to work. One of the other companies want to have an “chief executive level talk” with them. Can’t place orders with them for now. Can’t even talk with them per my higher ups. This sucks because we were saving money but now not only could we be banned from using them, the faux pas may cost them a huge chunk of annual revenue. Or worse.
It really ruined my day having that on my mind. I'll do my best to not think about after I take a catnap.
